It rarely crashes during the final render, but if it does, one reloads the scene and tries again, possibly altering the scene or settings A final render can take from a few minutes to tens of hours.
A MUCH bigger problem is the crashing while constructing the scene. When I was using Vue 7, it could easily crash 20-30 times, or more, before the scene was finished. If one had to reboot and there was Poser content in the scene, then each reload could take 10 minutes and every time one had to worry if the save file is corrupted I almost quit on Vue at that point because it was so frustrating
I am now using Vue 9 on a Mac and it is much more stable
Welcome Vue can do great things. I was just unlucky to have a PC configuration that didn't get along with it for some reason. Combining your drawing skills with 3D could yield spectacular results I would try it if I could, but my problem is that I can't draw.

nice one peter. been wanting to mess around with vue myself, just sometimes it's hard to break out of my comfort zone to try new things. but you've been doing really well in it lately and just makes me want to get into vue even more now. keep up the awesome work man!
I do love the colours so much here! So soft and floating together! That's really wonderfully made. And this hazy background is giving a great sense of depth again! And the drakskeep is a great touch to the scene. This "little detail" is adding story and even thrill to the overall peacefulness and quiet mood of the scenery. Pretty amazing, from a rusty machine, I'd say
